Is there a point to the Neo Buildings in the current version?

Regardless if I have one 25k building up, or even 6 of them, the daily revenue is still just a daily $500.

As for the information relating to v5.0.0, I have run into a major snag in development. To recap, I have been attempting to update this game to Pokemon Essentials v20.1. I knew this would be a bit risky, as Pokemon This Gym of Mine runs on Pokemon Essentials v18.1. And, lo and behold, I ran into an issue. When attempting to load my save, it threw an error after compiling and proceeded to delete my save file... I attempted to run the 20.1 version as a brand new game and it did not throw an error, meaning the issue comes when it tries to load the save.

I know I said that if previous saves were incompatible that I would continue on with version 18.1. However, there are still a number of reasons that I want to update to v20.1 Essentials. So, I decided to ask you guys how I should proceed. At the end of the day, you guys will have to play the game and wait for the update. As such, I want to hear your thoughts. How I see it, there are three ways I can go forward:

1. I can stay with v18.1.
This will require no additional dev time, but glitches such as the weather glitches and level-up glitches will, likely, be permanent issues in the game. In addition, I will lose out on the updated encounter capabilities of v20.1, meaning that any new Pokemon will be limited to newly added areas, and the new Pokemon I add will be limited. In addition, this may cause some Pokemon to be unnecessarily rare, as I cannot directly alter encounter rates in-document.

2. I commit to updating to v20.1, keeping up an updated version of PTGOM 4.0 as a legacy version.
This will require more dev time, but this will deal with glitches such as the weather glitch and the level-up glitch. In addition, this will allow for more robust encounters, potentially balancing out types such as Bug and Steel, which have been reported to be a bit underpowered. Also, I can look into allowing for multiple save files, as doing multiple playthroughs is quite popular in the community so this will make that easier. However, this does mean that this version will NOT be compatible with old save files.

3. I use this as an opportunity to completely overhaul Pokemon This Gym of Mine.
Let's face facts. This game was made 3 years ago, in a rush, and by an amateur game dev. There are a lot of things I had to bandage over just to make the game playable. Even with all the updates, there are still plenty of holes, such as the crazy amount of revenue buildings can generate, the point of reputation and reputation growth not being made clear, some dialogue needing a bit of refinement, and the fact that half of the game's ranks go by over the span of a minute. I could treat this as a chance to truly refine this game. Rebalancing encounters and buildings, giving a reason for ranks 5-7 to exist, amongst other things. In addition, I could look into plugins and resources, such as multiple save files, that could only be added to v20.1. Personally, this would be the route I like to go, but it would add quite a bit of dev time and would not be compatible with old save files. Just like with option 2, the old version of PTGOM will be kept up as a legacy version.

These are the three routes I feel I can go. No matter what, version 5.0.0 content will be included with the update and version 6.0.0 will come some time after. I want to see what you all think, and I am eager to hear your thoughts.

Notes:
It's random chance that goes into deciding who you face at the Gym. I've done everything I could think of to keep it interesting and avoid repetition, but it may happen once in a while, especially early on. Also, some early-game Trainers get stronger if you leave them be. You can only fight each Trainer once, so make it count!
Finally, there is no barrier between areas. You can access areas containing Pokemon five times your strength straight out the gate!

The registration is merely a text. If pressing the action button does nothing, try closing and opening the game again.

One of other things that I can't find an answer to, the game keeps looking for the specific fonts it uses in the Fonts folder, even though I copied the Fonts provided into the directory that it asks

I've been just hitting A through that text cause I can't find out where else it wants me to place these files. Windows 10 just in case by the way.

I just finished, there were only a few audio glitches and the final fight was really challenging, but this is one of my favorite games! I had so much fun and cant wait to do another run!

So apparently this game hates my Gliscor. I'm trying to get my team equally leveled up against the Blissey trainer, but whenever my Scorpio attacks I get the following error message. And then once the Blissey dies, I keep getting this message and the battle never ends--I keep getting the same menu and attacking further just gets "There was no target.", followed by the error once again.

I've gotten around it by hard-switching to someone else after the Blissey is knocked out, which triggers the game to realize it's time to either send out the next Blissey or end the battle if that was the last one; but this has happened consistently and I figured the Devs should know about it.

ETA: OK it's not just the Blissey trainer; I just had it happen against a gym challenger too.

ETA2: Apparently it's linked to the Toxic Orb, since I realized I never saw it activate, took it off, and never had this problem again. Sucks given I wasted money on not only the orb itself but an ability patch.

what do you mean "in this game"? He's just steel, all the pokemon are their normal types, nothing has been changed; Aron should still be Steel/Rock.... The only reason I can think of for him having "Dragon Rage", is because the creator saw he can learn "Dragon Rush" and probably got the two confused.

There's regional variants in this game, Umbal Aron is a regional form of Aron that is Steel/Dragon typing.

There's also a regional variant of the Magby line that is Fire/Water type, just to name a couple

I love this game. I have played through it twice now with different types and find it really enjoyable. I would love to see it more fleshed out in the future. One thing I am noticing is when I play the girl character I can't find Quaxly in the starter area. I have searched for 3 hours and found every other starter except for him multiple times. No problem finding him on the male character. Any ideas or do I just need to keep looking?

Duskskull can't beat the first trainer as astonish does no damage to their Pokémon. Also, the opposing Pokémon can't deal damage to it..

Way too many encounters and way too many trainers, spent the last 30 minutes trying to find ghost types and dying constantly because trainers are everywhere and have a seemingly random level.

i found a SOFTLOCK.
If you are on vacation and use the Pokemon Center, you will be softlocked when you got defeated at home. (You respawn in the vacation pokecenter and the Inn doesn´t work. you can sleep, but wake up in the same Inn.

This happend to me, because only 1 guy could win against me. Of course it was against Shane :o
