Beldum has a catch rate of 3 in the official games, that's why you're struggling.

You don't need one, once you reach rank 2 a trainer with 6 blisseys with 0 attacking moves spawns and you can battle her as many times as you want.

I went on vacation to Breezee Town and once I returned back, I wasn't able to do anything. I couldn't move and I couldn't even open the menu.

Sandshrew can be caught in Craggy Pass, left of town, in the very first patch of grass, and can learn X-Scissor. Scatterbug and Wurmple can be caught right off the boat as well. Currently running Beautifly, Crustle, and Sandslash, but trying to find more mons has been rough.

When I return, I hope to be back with an update. Whether it is the major update or another bug fix will depend, but either way I hope to have more in store fo you all! In the meantime, I'll answer some questions I've seen around the forum...

The one found in Breezee evolves upon learning the move Hex. It should learn it at level 23, so you might need to go to the move relearner for it.

Trade evolutions evolve via happiness in this game. Haunter evolves with high happiness at night, specifically.

That was back when the starter Pokemon could be found in the wild. They have since been swapped out for other Pokemon to keep them from feeling less special than other starters, and so that the only Gym Type that can get a full team of base 600 Pokemon is the Dragon gym.

Seems the game fails to reset your PokeCenter location to your house. I'll take care of this glitch in a future update along with many other bugs. My apologies for this.

There also seems to be an issue with the Gym determining if your team is legal or not, I will try to deal with that, as well.

Hey love the game but I gotta ask a few questions. 1, how do I get the event to get to rank five to activate? Because I can't seem to trigger it. 2, When will the blocked areas in the vacation locations open up?

Beautiful game absolutely love it. Could we get some better grass starters though? I understand if we can't get eeveelutions but maybe something like budew or oddish? Just a suggestion from personal preference.

How do u evolve Sliggoo??? Ik in the games u have to evolve it in the rain, but I had rain dance going on while I evolved it so idk what to do. It also stopped raining in the water area.

I absolutely loved this game, it's a very different take on the standard Pokemon formula, it was challenging to get this, but i gotta say, can't wait to play the finished version

Is there some sort of documentation? I want to know where I can catch certain types of pokemon.
Also, which type of pokemon do you recommend? I thought about dark to have some very strong pokemons that has 2nd type as dark, such as Hydreigon and Krokorok, but I'm open minded for other types as well.

So I started out with duskull and can't damage any of the early pokemon cause the only damaging move they get is Astonish

If you change your clock on your pc to night time you can fight against dark/ghost types on the bottom right, and theres a girl on the left of the grass a little forward of the boat that gives you two pokeballs. You can save right when you get the pokeballs and hard reset till you catch another pokemon with a non ghost move

Hey there - I'm trying to run this on my steamdeck and ran into an issue with missing graphics/images. The start screen at the beginning where I select my save only shows the background images, when I start a new save I do not see Professor Oak, just the pillars to choose my starter type, and when selecting between different menu options, there is no arrow/outline showing what my selection is.

Anyone else ran into this before? Tried re-downloading the file, ensured all fonts were installed, and changed the different Proton versions the steamdeck was using to run the .exe

Appreciate any help, thanks!
