What are you here to do?

You've awoken in a cool, underground lab. You're not human, but not Pokémon. You move your freshly built mechanical body out of the machine. During your creation process, you've been asked questions, but not given any answers for yourself. Picking up the presents left behind for you, you make your way up to the surface. In front of you a maze sprawls, and, not too far on the horizon a tower, taller than the clouds, looms over the landscape. Why are you awake? What are you needed for? You set off on a journey to find out...​

  • Raised the level cap from 35 to 40 in the interlude.
  • Made 11 TMs available to use.
  • Polished all battles to realign the difficulty, and account for new evolution levels.
  • Polished dialogue for more implied intonation (pauses etc.).
  • Added extra dialogue in the Watchtower for various terms.
  • Made the Flash Function a useable item instead of an event that activates upon entering dark spaces (so you can assign it to the ready menu)
  • Added a speed up button (Activates with Q).

So I just finished livestreaming this game, I'll try to keep it brief since Mashi has already seen my full experience, but for anyone reading this:

I think this is a severely underrated game. The presentation is superb, and it keeps the pokemon gameplay interesting by having it based around a central hub. You go out and explore, and as you unlock more abilities, the areas you are familiar show new secrets.

The story is also really intriguing and I'm excited to see what it leads up to. Go play this game!

Hi there! Just dropping in to say damn this game has been a ton of fun (the chill exploring is very fun) and er, I'm firmly stuck as a certain strength puzzle in the Rock Maze is absolutely not picking up that all four of the boulders are on the switches (and if they require specific boulders on specific switches I'd really like more of a hint as to which ones go where cause I've tried a lot of combos at this point and am just about done with this puzzle entirely).

Additionally one of the quests (Water, The Source of All Life) appears to be bugged; I keep getting this error message when trying to get my reward from Charlie right before the game crashes:

So yeah. Hopefully fixing those isn't too much of a drag and thanks for the great little game. No clue if you're still making it but I really love its atmospheric vibes and puzzles, and I hope I can actually finish it one day~ XD

Is there a bug with Charlie side quest at the Glazed lakeside, I am very certain I have collected 14 ice cones but he acts tho I have not yet collected them all.
Also, for the rock maze, the boulder doesnt dissapear even tho I have pushed all the boulders to the buttons.

I think it may not have gotten all the files from the zipped folder, try redownloading it and seeing if that does anything.

Just redownloaded, there is still no sound when I go into a wild battle. I'm not sure about trainer battles since I only been to the first patch of grass. Also It was a fresh install so I wasn't replacing it over an old update or anything.

Ok, I've reuploaded the files, and according to tay it's giving music now. Really not sure what broke it before but it's working fine now.
