1px Character Creator by Voltseon
There's a lot of 2px density fangames (almost all of them actually).
I believe this is because almost all public resources are in 2px density and there's no reliable way to get 1px density overworld sprites. So here's a 1px density character creator. It contains layer files for a lot of things you might need, from hairstyles to skirts.
Examples
It includes bases and layers for the following character states:
Walking, Running, Biking, Fishing and Surfing
There's also surf bases and dive bases so you don't have to create those whale things yourself, they are located in the /Misc subfolder.
Instructions
Open any image editing software that uses layers (eg. Paint.NET or Photoshop)
Import the base of the character you want to use (eg. Male/Base/boy_base.png)
Add any clothing and/or hairstyles you want to use
Flatten your layers and recolor anything you want with contiguous disabled
Save it to your game and you're done!
