Climb the ranks from 1 to 6, but be careful: not all your fellow Union members are on your side.
While Union Leader John wrestles with a growing number of missing person cases, Poachers lurk in each area, exploiting Pokémon for profit whenever they can.

I was wondering what the shiny odds are because I literally started my first file about 10 minutes ago and my starter is shiny. The atmosphere and spritework is very cute for this first town and am excited to play what's available!

The shard is on one side of the bed.
It's really not that hard to find, you can do it if you check the few things in that house. c: And eevee expo doesn't let me reply with one sentence only, which is dumb, so here's more text.
 
Uh, hey! I want to report a possible bug, i dont know, but when i reach the second union mission "missing trainer" , i go report to nathan and all that, i receive the hmSurf and go to dewsbury, but it didnt count that i reported to nathan, and i dont know how to continue on the game, i dont have a save that is before reporting to nathan, could anyone help me with that? (sorry, my english is not very good)

Dewsbury is the wrong place. Go to the place that's the actual quest place. You should find that in the quest menu. Everyone talks about where you have to go too.

The only bug I saw was getting a second companion after exiting the cave (before completing it).

Luxio:
I catched Luxio (lv 21) to calm it down and solve the quest. In the story, he run away. It felt awkward having it in the team...

Fighting:
All the fights were challenging and managable with 1 or 2 surviving pokemon up til level 20. Very enjoyable.
At level 20+ in Ruphis, the opponent duo had a pokemon with facade+toxic orb and another with leftover.
When I saw leftover it felt very, very unenjoyable.

I am a casual player.
My total catched pokemon are 14, with effects like run away and pickup included.
My team has a
+speed munna
-sp atk froscowl
+atk ledian

When fighting these kind of opponents, I feel forced to change ...
Am I supposed to throw away my starter froscowl, because it is not perfect? Am I supposed to recatch my pokemon?

(Imagine playing through a game with sword dance. It is very easy and fun. But should only be 1 way of thousands to enjoy the game... Am I forced to limit myself with best pokemon? Better Items? )

I still won the double fight with 1 pokemon remaining and it wasn't too difficult. I know some strategies for double fights after all...
But that fight did not feel good due to opponent having items I can't get and strategies only expert-player would use :/

So I went to the rank up battle next.

Maybe I can go to the ruin and level up in there? I wanted to try the ruin after the rank up battle, but feel forced again to change my plans if I continue playing.

I love them!
There are often two NPC with opposite opinions and it feels great reading it. Very enjoyable.
NPC text is something some developer seem to struggle with and this idea is an interesting and fun one!

Berry:

The area for berries is beautiful.
(In old games like gold and silver, you were able to use one time items like berries (=time) to beat stronger opponents. It was a nice feature for casual player to invest time to do, what others did with better strategies. Or how I would say it, to be able to use weaker pokemon and attacks, to broaden the horizon of possibilities. Brings back good memories^^)

Being able to catch luxio is a bug, missed to set the right script there! But thanks for telling me!

About the difficulty: Yes, I want to have a challenging game, without having to grind much. You can easily overlevel if it's too hard for you (Ruphis Tunnel). And no, you don't need to swap out pokemon because of their nature. It's easy to find mints for that (hidden items + 1 mint every 24 hours in your secret base). I'm a solo dev, so including a hard and easy mode would be too much work currently. During playtesting, I rarely use items, catch whatever I like without looking at the nature, and I wouldn't say I'm that pro level either. It's hard and I sometimes lose too, but the boss fights are still possible. Sorry that you feel like it's not fun to continue for you, but the only difficulty I changed so far, were the random Trainers in the Sapodilla Woods and I plan to keep it that way for the new version after this demo (in terms of difficulty for bosses. Adjusting level curves will always be necessary I guess).
You also can find a lot of held items if you talk with NPCs or look around for hidden items. Froscowl is dark ice and always will die because of Heracross - and you can use different strats without hail. Like Yawn and Nightmare. It's not useless because it can't use hail during that time.

And oh, wasn't sure what level your froscowl exactly was, but well, you're almost there for that combo xD

If you continue playing: The first part of the second Area will be turned down a bit in the next update, in terms of random trainer difficulty. I hope you'll manage the current version!
About the secret base: The Guard in front of the trainer Union exit talks to you, before you enter Stonescape Trail for the first time. He gives you a hint about "vines hanging from trees". I slightly tweaked the colors of those vines for the next version, but you can still see them in yours, if you keep an eye out for them! Most route-areas have several base entrances c:

This may be a goofy question, but I just reached rank 2 and don't have/can't find any more quests - I'm not sure where to go next? Is this the end of the demo or am I supposed to be able to reach rank 3?

Yeah... Feel that... my first shiny was a kakuna yeaaaaars ago. That's it, really. ;w; Glad that you like it!

And you can play till rank 3. Maybe you're at that point were ava waits next to the quest board? c: Should've made a Quest-marker over her head maybe, to make it more obvious. Or someone said you'll meet in the fighting room :D

Hey again! uh, i managed to go far again on the game, now i reached out the poachers hideout, when Ava said to look for papers and that, i interacted with everything and still nothing, and now i left the room and saved the game in case of anything happens, but then i tried to enter the room and the screen just gets black, so its pratically impossible to enter the room again, and now i dont know on what else i need to interact or what do to cus i dont have a save before leaving the room
 
The shard is on one side of the bed.
It's really not that hard to find, you can do it if you check the few things in that house. c: And eevee expo doesn't let me reply with one sentence only, which is dumb, so here's more text.

You're not supposed to leave the room. But well, since you did, you found a bug no one else found so far xD
I'll update the game in a moment and give you the link, so you can update your own game and get rid of that bug.

The update is online. Please re download the game and merge the new game folder with your old one. The save file is stored elsewhere, so it should be fine.

For the update: There's a new item at lonely path, in the middle of that pond.
