Hey, quick question: why did you decide to have Back and Menu share a button while running is on a dedicated button?

Personally, I'd rather have Menu be a dedicated button while having Run and Back share a button, like in the official games

Do you have something altering the controls? Base essentials has Back and Run on the same button and Menu on a separate one. Back and Run are defaulted to X, while opening the Menu defaults to Z. You can see the controls when you start a new game and select "Controls" from Oak's options.

This also may not be the thread to host this question and it's answer, so if you're having issues with controls you'll probably want to post in https://eeveeexpo.com/dev-discussion/ instead.

I was wondering about something. is pokemon SDK for pokemon studio a good devkit? i mean, it has RPG maker XP implemented onto the program for a clear purpose.

It all comes down to you, Pokemon SDK is well known for it's strength compared to Essentials(it handles heavy events very well), but RPG Maker is implemented into it specifically for making events and the current lead has said in his interview on Eevee Expo 3 that they plan to move on from RPG Maker XP to make the engine completely free, but it doesn't have the community size that Essentials has yet(this means you won't yet see the amount of resources available in Essentials for PSDK).
A major advantage it has in my opinion is that it uses tiled, so it's so much more easier to make beautiful maps(like the ones found in the Spanish Fangames).
Overall, I'd say it's a pretty good devkit, if you plan to make a game with intense cutscenes, you should consider it. I plan on making a fangame in it(but I found Pokemon Essentials first so I'll be making a fangame with it).
This is from what I know about the engine, if you'd like to know more, here's their website.
