Known Issues:
Most issues have been fixed, but the game can crash from saving (I don't know how it happens), but your game does save!

Theme Usage:
(MAJOR PLOT SPOILERS) There are two main ways that Abstract utilizes the "Dimensions" theme.

The first is obvious; we have an area in the game called the Chaos Dimension, where your flaws are accentuated.
Secondly, the entirely of the game is focused on learning about different points of view and cultures. You get to explore the dimensions of how different people live, how different provinces fight, and how us humans aren't meant to be perfect. This is the main and most important use of the theme.

I can't believe I just completely forgot about the Water Stone 😭😭 Ludicolo is one of my favorite Pokemon too!

If you haven't beaten the game yet, I can dm you save data for the Evolution Cafe where I fix that and add a Water Stone. If not, it'll 100% be in the next patch. So sorry man 😭😭

Palaside stays as a pure poison type.

Wdym the bridges are malfunctioning? Do you mean that they don't work if you walk across them? would appreciate more info so I can fix that.

also this was intended but I just like. completely forgot to add the egg NPC 💀💀 Will be added in the next patch (which should release today!)
Ahh I see ty ty, yea it was the early inferno moveset that had me curious hehe. Guess I WILL be adding growlithe to my team t.t and not salandit since palaside fills that niche

yeah that's how hidden abilities work lol. Luckily, there's an Ability Patch/Ability Capsule shop in Mythir Town which allows you to unlock all of their HAs

For the bridges, I'd say you have missplaced the pbBridges scripts because it randomly occurs that I am on the bridge and suddently I get under it as the screenshot I've sent earlier shows.

same here. any fix for this?
idk what's happening bcs there aren't any events on the bridges. There's literally no way to be sent off of the bridge without getting off of it first.
1693160903110.png

could y'all possibly send me a vid of what happens? I don't know how else I would fix it otherwise. (for the time being, maybe just try leaving and re-entering the area in order to get past?)
does anybody know where i can get a fire and dusk stone
Fire and Dusk Stones are obtainable at the Evolution Cafe (and also in the wild. Fire is found in Zepomo Mountain, Dusk in Snowy Canyon)

Version 1.7 is out! The game now looks fully committed to the Gen 3 style which really helps it imo! Most issues should be completely fixed at this point (except for the safe crash), but if you still find anything, lmk!

Day 2 of being stuck at the psychic gym
You can literally just leave the Psychic Gym if you wanted and save it for later but here's some tips on how to get through:

The main premise of the Psychic Gym is that it's supposed to be confusing. You're supposed to use the hints around you and common sense to get through. It starts off with a tile puzzle and after hitting the switch, you have to go back through in order to find the first trainer.

The second puzzle of the gym is a door puzzle that brings you back to doors you've been before. In order to solve this one, you have to pay attention to what doors bring you where. If a door brings you back to where you were just taken, then you haven't progressed. If a door takes you to a different door, then you have progressed. This puzzle ends with having to go out of the gym 'exit' in order to be warped to the second trainer.

The final room is pretty simple. It looks like an infinity staircase, but you have to go up a bit and then go back in order to find the third trainer. Hope that helps!

Now that I have finished them game entirely, I can now make a feedback more... detailed than the last one.

First off, here is my team I have used torwards the adventure :
(Side note, I played the game only with 5 Pokémons and then the legendary was a force to catch.)
Aegislash is litteraly my ace.
Capture d’écran (106).png
Capture d’écran (109).png

So, first I have choosen the fire/ice starter because I hate having a water type pokémon in my Team. As for the grass type thing, I wasn't attracted much.

Afterwards, I went to the Rock Gym Leader and went to capture a Zorua. With the first Rival Fight which I struggled because of their Fighting/Flying Pokémon opening, I've managed to setup a torment which made me win the battle easily afterwards. After securing the first badge, I went to the Psychic badge to get RockSmash. I caught along the way a honedge and a luxio, adding them in my team. Irina was MUCH easier to fight. Then, after the rival and the psychic puzzle, I went straight to the grass gym leader (I was already at level 45 at this point.) But I lost myself in the way and ended up in a ninja Poison Type Gym. After beating the lonelyness of Koel's Domain, I went bottom to save the first Elite Member. I acquired a Vibrava which completed my team until almost endgame and I got the Taxi. Went back to the Ninja Domain and realised that I could just... go back to the Rock Gym and take the cavern. (Which I did.)

Arrived at Helitero City, (from the North-East Gate (Cavern)) I get teleported because of a cutscene torwards the WEST gate. Then I beaten up my Rival once again, this time Lev and Irina was so damn mean. I almost lost my battle versus him. The grass gym leader thought was a COMPLETE joke. I did not even used my starter to sweep it, I used my Luxray with Fire Fang. After the 4th badge secured, I attacked myself torwards the Electric Gym (Which I oblirated the Gym Leader with Flygon) and there was Irina was well but yeah... won't talk about it.

Afterwards, Dragon Gym was a total massacre. The number of times I reset just to get the perfect Flygon Dragon Dance opening. (Got an Axe. I totaly did not searched for an Axew to try giving him the axe.) Then I went to save Asher which totaly didn't needed our help, our father does not approve our decision but just too bad dad am grown up. Then the worst part arrives, I go get the surfboard to go to the Fighting Gym Leader. Turns out... I need a Climbing Kit.
Instead of just trying and search the kit, I just went to the library and litteraly 1 hour and half in this stupid place. Books, Books, Books, Books. Saved the 3rd Elite member as well.

At that point, I didn't knew what I could do but I did remember that I had another badge to get in Oregalite City. It did not went well. I ended up going the LONG path. I went to the starting zone, went up torwards Latol to skip the Rock Climbing stuff. I wanted to outsmart the game but the game outsmarted me. Arrived to Latol City from the West Gate, I saw some Rock Climbing stuff to go to the Pokémon Center... I used my Taxi to get there. TURNS OUT... THE MINING KIT WAS JUST ABOVE.

Worst part being done, I took the climbing kit, went to do the Fighting badge (EASY cuz AI doesn't know how to beat an Aegislash.) Then got lost again when I wanted to go to Oregalite City once again. I'd say after 45 minutes, 1 hour, I finaly made up to the city. Went to the Gym and... this happened :
Capture d’écran (105).png

I faught a ghost. A litteral ghost named Irina. This version of her is a lot better. Anyways, I got the Steel badge as well from that. Went to save William which I say it. If it wasn't a Fairy Type Elite 4 Member, I was about to question myself.

Anyways, story ended up there, wanted to go to the league but wait... what happened to Lev... Turns out that like the education of today, the corruption onto graduating still exists and Lev knew about it. Their mom was like go save my child. Me : Huh? You sure? Because for me, he turned to the evils.

Went to their HQ, saw a Lion Mask. Litteraly wanted to fight that dude... guess I will never know who he was..........
I'll skip some parts here because even myself did not understand much. I captured a FORCED Legendary. (He uses Explosion 3/4 times... who thought about the idea?) Then I went to a ridiculously confusing mountain which some leaders, citizens and whatever other living things turns against each other for the goal of perfection. (Like the Cult of Perfection said once : We come back in a better and perfected matter.)

Faught Lev and Roman at the top along with the legendary pokémon of order (I clearly not 1 shot it with a crit explosion of Pandamonium no way.) If I had to guess his type, I would say he's or Fairy/Bug or Fairy/Poison. Anyways I will never know cuz I just exploded.

Now with that secured, the 6th member in my Team I went to the Pokémon League which clearly was easy except Calla. The water mastery she has with her pokémon rain team or whatever just annihilated my Team twice. Irina, William and Lavender (Fire, Fairy, Ghost) were fairly easy. Then, there was fath* I mean Kyrane. As showed upper, I got... half destroyed but I still thought he's easy to beat. Overall the game let you choose your difficulty but normal mode is a lot easier than I anticipated.

Lastly, I'd say the game is easy 20 hours but I did it in :

Capture d’écran (108).png

10 : 05... yeah... Won't talk about Postgame because I did see once again some people struggle with that so wont talk about it now.

Now, the time for my feedback.
I do want to point out some facts that are important here.
The game in general is good. If it is the first Pokémon FanGame you want to play thought, I'd recommend something less hard onto puzzles and stuff.

Here's as well some good thoughts :
  • For once, I loved the puzzles. Psychic Badge was like in the illusions videos. The infinite stairway, the thousand chamber onto one. The inverted room. Those were amazing.
  • I do love the new mega-evolutions especially Florges mega-evolution which William uses.
  • The mapping was so beautiful to watch. The Scenario with it was just amazing.
  • The level scaling according to your strongest is as well a good way to scale your team so you do not have a too weak pokémon. I did loved that,
  • Is it only me but I just love Irina's storyline as well?
Now, onto some bad thoughts.
  • This is one of the many bridges that occurs the same bug where you can litteraly be stuck like in this example.
An example of a malfunctionning bridge :
Capture d’écran (110).png

Capture d’écran (104).png

The interaction of a PbBridge(On/Off should always be spaced out of 1. (Or you give to your game a switch sign to say ok the player is on layer 1, or on layer 2 etc.))
  • Overall, even if theres many, many, many wilderness, the cities feels a little more empty. (Except the Electric Badge City which is big compared to all the other cities.)
  • Thought I love the fact that it's an open world which you can beat up the gym/help in order you want but... Some guidance at the beginning is always appreciated. We know our objectives but we do not have recommandations or a ''tutorial'' onto which order is preferable. Our dad did it before us... Why does he not help us !
  • The Blizzard in Victory Road made me stuck in this road for quite a long time. I did not liked the fact that I accidently backtracked cuz I couldn't see well if I was in the good way or the bad way.
  • When you save the game, you have an error with a plugin's name called Voltseon's Pause Menu. It always occurs when you press twice ''Enter Button''. This error makes you crash the game and closes themselves. Sometimes, if you are unlucky enough, it crashes BEFORE you actualy save.

Overall the game will be given a 8.5/10 for myself. It is a good experience for people which are fan of Pokémon but I wouldn't recommend it as your first game (maybe as your second or third etc).

PS : I do not fluently speak english, if the review is not modified, it is then valid.

So I deleted my last save since eh, new update (1.7) AND now having access to the PBS, I'm definitely putting more thought into my team building decisions lol. The team I'm using heading on my journey, leaving Raccolo Town heading to the Electric gym first. Hehe took a LOT of running around with an Adamant, Timid, and Serious natured Munna's and avoiding most trainers except the ones I absolutely couldn't get past due to them being directly in the way of me progressing to the next zone. I NEEDED my
Dualarva
at the start lol. Time to officially start my journey, again haha.
