What is Pixelmon Kainite?
Pixelmon Kainite is a Pokemon Fan Game made entirely within Minecraft using the Pixelmon Mod. While made in minecraft, it plays out like it's own game.
There is no mining or crafting involved. ..well, kind of..
It consists of

Trailer Trilogy
While working on the project, several trailers and teasers have been made. These three trailers are the most important. Recommended to watch them chronologically.
The Story
You, a beginning trainer, go out on your own journey alongside your two childhood friends. Who happen to be brothers of one another, though very different in character. They don't seem to get along with each other very well. Kyle, the shy younger bother, seems to struggle with confidence. Whereas Rusty, the chaotic and rude older brother, seems to get himself in trouble for different reasons.. Along your League Challenge you'll encounter several groups of individuals that pose a challenge, some more than others.. Some familiar faces might also return. One of these groups, named Team Blank, are especially problematic. They seem to be up to some shady business, which might turn quite grim at times. Their main goal seems to be to bring back a creature by the name of "Reaper" once banished by Arceus. A creature that would be a threat to mankind as we know it, but they don't seem to really realize the danger themselves.. Rid the world from evil to save the day, all while still completing your League Challenge across both regions. Do you think you have what it takes, or will your fate be in someone else's hands? Only time will tell.
Current Status
It's been in the works for nearly a decade now, as I've been working on this by myself in my free time, though for the most part of that timeline it's been on hiatus. A more accurate representation would be 4-5 years, which is still a very long time x) While it's still a work in progress, it's nearing completion. Up until gym 16 and a bunch of post-game stuff has been finished, only a handful of big events and a bunch of smaller tasks remain. After which it will be a bunch of beta-testing. Applying for beta tester is possible, more on that below.

Playable Demo
A demo of this project is available to try out! It includes a slightly altered storyline to get a better grasp of what's to come in the full version.
It is playable until the first gym, which is roughly 1-2 hours of playtime.
