Pokémon Distortion

Pokémon Distortion is a solo fan game project (and my first ever game) with big focus on the story line.
(currently act 1 and 2 are released, the rest is still in the works)
(expect bugs)

Undertale/Deltarune
Block tales
Hollow Knight: Silksong

Welcome to Distortia!

Distortia is a realm made after a clash between Dialga and Palkia. During their clash they released so much energy. different realms where pushed together.
So you will find new, and familiar places and characters from a bunch of different timelines!
Some returning places from other games are Slateport city and Celestic town!

Story

You play as a 21 year old soon to be trainer who shot awake from a nightmare on the day you are choosing your first Pokemon.
Your goal? Becoming champion.
After meeting up with a old friend you two quickly discover a statue of a human, that seems frozen in time.
You find out the cause of this is a cult who has Giratina under their control and are planning to create a new world.
Their leader, calling themselves the dark lord, is a serious threat to the entire dimension.
Becoming champion gets put aside, Its up to you and your friends to stop them.

Little disclaimer
The game kinda breaks if your using any speedup tools (Like delta speedup), so I'd recommend not using them.
this is also my first ever game, so don't expect too much!
Also my grammer sucks and im working on rewriting the dialgue in a proper way, idk if i will make that a patch or include it in the next act update, sorry!

(for the ones who already have the game installed please download the hotfix folder and drop its contents into the root if you game, if you dont have it installed you can download a new zip of the game! the fixed files are in there)

Major Update v0.2.3
I'm here to bring a big overhaul update to act 1 and 2, act 3 and 4 are still in the works but making great process!
here is what changed, lets start with some QOL:

• Running shoes are now instantly unlocked
• The town map is given very quickly
• You can now skip the cave if you wish on route 2 when you did it once

visual changes:

• Reworked a lot of sprites
• Added the gen 9 animation project
• Colored the badges
• updated some battle backs

Other changes:

• Added a Act into screen for Act 1 and 2
• Balancing changes
• Some dialogue changes
• Added achievements to act 1 for the achievement hunters (they are cross save, as long as 1 save has achievements unlocked, they will carry to other saves)
• Some music changes
• Bug fixes

that is all i have to offer for now, Like i said, Act 3 and 4 are still deep in development but making good process! I don't think i will majorly update these acts again until act 3 is out, if you find any bugs let me know!

(if you have old save file(s) just drag them over to the SaveFiles folder in the new versions main folder and you should be good to go!)

quick fix: download link was broken sorry! i think this happend because i updates the game and drive for some reason reset the link, my bad!
