Story
You wake up after a dream of a scientific conference you attended not long ago. Your life has been mostly adrift since you finished your bachelor's degree as you've not found the drive to enter the workforce. After a chance encounter with a thief, a sequence of lucky events land you exploring the Barcha island and later the whole Revaelis region as a Pokémon trainer. This leads to you becoming friends with a whole array of characters, fighting an mischievous team with conflicting ideals and potentially uncover a larger conspiracy. Do you have the strength to wrestle control back over your life?

Thanks for your time first of all. This game came about initially as a purely theoretical game design exercise however due to encouragement from friends over the course of 3 years I've been solo-developing this game. The idea of the game was small and not very ambitious, lacking any gimmicks or major selling points bar being a "well balanced" average Pokémon game and the project has not deviated much from that profile. The reality is that solo developing is a harsh work specially when you didn't have any development skills beforehand- and specially- not having any spriting skills but deciding to do a full original Pokédex (That's where most of the time went!).
As such I have to ask a bit of patience on 2 fronts: Back Sprites and Menu Sprites. Making over 150 sprites was a lot of work, specially when I didn't really sprite before this, so I accepted that if I wanted to release this game in my lifetime I would have to compromise, so they're both using just the Pokémon front sprites. Also, there are definitely typos and grammar mistakes in there, I wrote a lot of text and I'm not even a native english speaker so a lot of it def went past me.
Lastly I don't know when I will resume development on this project. Future content has already been planned however I don't think I have it in me to continue working solo- but for any bugs, errors, help or if you just want to say you liked my game and wanted to help, feel free to contact me on discord under the name tactimon.
