Synopsis

Welcome to the Naisan Region: A vibrant land shaped by innovation, ancient mysteries, and hidden wonders. In Pokémon Echo, you join Professor Pallas as their assistant, exploring sprawling routes, forgotten temples, and long-lost settlements teeming with rare Pokémon. Rather than focusing on the Gym Challenge, your journey emphasizes archaeological discovery, solving puzzles in temple dungeons, connecting with locals, and piecing together Naisan’s hidden past.

This looks so clean. I'm particularly a fan of the double battle focus.
Can't wait for the demo drop!

i saw the trailer in yesterday night and i am really hyped i cant wait to play the demo but two pokemon as starters in the game is really cool!!

I honestly worried if this game using pokemon essentials below version 21.1 there well known bug of fps drop in tall grass after long period of time and fps drop on city

Hi all! I just realized I completely forgot to add the download link to the thread. For those who haven't seen it pop up on Discord yet: The demo is now out. I'd love to hear what you all think. Thank you!

Just played through the first 2 hours and a bit, and I'm absolutely loving it. I honestly think it's safe to say that this is the most beautiful fangame I've ever played. It's amazing. It looks unrecognisable from essentials. And it's not just the visuals that have a lot of effort put into it, you've obviously tried to create a proper world here. From npcs having day and night cycles to all the hidden grottos spread about the world. You've done an amazing job. Everything just has so much character.

I did encounter one small bug, when talking to the game devs, you can cancel out of most of their menus, but the one in the bottom right has it set so that if you press cancel it will just treat it like you chose the pokemon essentials options instead of letting you leave. This means the only way to actually stop interacting with that npc is to go into a different sub menu and then cancel out of that one.

It terms of critism, I do feel like there are a few too many trainers. It feels rather dense in some of the areas, but I guess exploring is optional so it's not that bad. Most of them can be skipped. But because of the somewhat limited amount of available pokemon, a lot of the trainers repeat what pokemon they use heavily. I did a loop around the left side of the island before oging into the new city, and it felt like I had to fight trainers with cutifly and azumaril and wingull an uncountable amount of times.

Compared to everything else in the game though, these are really just small pieces of feedback. I love what your team has done, and I also love how you've made the dev room into a sort of interactable credits. It's super charming. Looking forward to playing more
