Welcome to the Faerie Region!

Trainer school is finally over, and you have the whole summer to do whatever you want!
Of course, for you and many other trainers, there's only one thing to do in this period:
Take on the Pokémon League, and become Faerie's new champion!

Naturally, that won't be easy! You must travel through many different places, making
friends and meeting new rivals, all the while catching and raising many new Pokémon!

And of course, there's that group of ruffians, Team Riot, on the loose...
It seems that they have a bone to pick with NW Corp, the new sponsor
of the Pokémon League...

I wonder what that's all about...

-Features-

Limited Pokédex: 382 hand-picked Pokémon, from generations 1-9, alongside
some new surprises!

Old Pokémon, new forms: 50 new regional and ecologically similar
Pokémon, including new evolutions!

Sidequests: Throughout Faerie, you will meet many people that will give you
optional quests, rewarding you with money, TM's, and even exclusive Pokémon!

Difficulty modes: If you seek a greater challenge, you can choose to play the
game on Challenge Mode, where all trainers have stronger Pokémon, and
important trainers receive extra Pokémon and powerful movesets!

Configurable Autosave: Every time you enter or leave an area, the
game will automatically save for you! If it's not your style, you can
turn it off on the options box.

Pokémon everywhere: Wild Pokémon appear on the overworld,
and your lead Pokémon follows you outside of its Poké ball!

-About the Demo-

The Demo goes up to a little farther than the second gym, until the third rival fight,
totaling up to around 2-3 hours of playtime.
Originally, the first Demo would go up until the third gym, however, due to the lack
of playtesters in my end, I wasn't so sure about the difficulty curve, so I decided to
release the Demo earlier as to test the level balancing with a wider audience.
Hence the Demo being version 0.5 instead of 1.0.

If you have something to say about the game, just say it!
Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated!

-What's next-

After the feedback is taken into account, if everything goes well,
a new Demo should be launched in 2025, going up to the third gym
as initially planned. After it launches, I probably won't do any more
public Demos until the game is finished.

-> When going up or down an diagonal stair, the Following Pokémon may
react strangely to it, and it's position compared to you will become modified.
This is purely a visual glitch, and can be fixed by changing maps.

-> Sometimes, the overworld encounters may stop working, even though
they are turned on. To fix this, simply save and open and close the game.
If this doesn't fix it, go to options and turn overworld encounters off,
open and close the game, and then turn them back on.

I be honest at first i don't realize there new game because as you know sometimes post can get push down by older post if it get new comments.

My impression is the game look beautiful, i lie if i said it as beautiful as Spanish fangame because well they're just build different with all those animation and outworld map but i can assure you this game look good.

I don't know maybe it's only me buy i feel the route feel short.

I got some fps drop sometime after i play for 3 hours or when walk in grass try to see all pokemon here but i already kmow it's because Pokémon Essentials V20.1 have this bug so it's understandable.

I hope in future we can have both big city and big wild area to explore.

I can't say much because the game still short but i feel really good playing

I've been enjoying it so far, I'm about an hour into the game and am about to take on the first gym. I'm curious about the regional forms I haven't seen yet and even the evolutions of the ones I've caught, so that's a good sign of engagement.

Other than the known bugs, I've also noticed a few typos--most prominently, sometimes NW Corp is written as NY Corp (or NV Corp? It's a little hard to tell with the font). I'm pretty sure this wasn't intentional and it happened twice over the course of my playthrough so far. It was definitely on the "main storyline" path, although I don't recall exactly where they were, unfortunately (I should've written it down).

I don't think the leveling curve feels too bad--I had a little more trouble with Illwyn (if I'm remembering the name right) than I was expecting to, but I still won, so no complaints here. I'll say I'm not used to having to go back and grind a bit before a gym anymore, but I think I've just been spoiled by the recent mainline games; I don't play a ton of fangames (this is actually my first classic fangame in years), so that might be normal.

Overall nice work so far! I'll let you know when I'm further and more of my thoughts, but I wanted to make sure I said something before I forgot while I'm taking a break.

Other than the known bugs, I've also noticed a few typos--most prominently, sometimes NW Corp is written as NY Corp (or NV Corp? It's a little hard to tell with the font). I'm pretty sure this wasn't intentional and it happened twice over the course of my playthrough so far. Thank you for notifying me about the misspelling of NW Corp, I'll fix it right away!
Originally, NW Corp was called NY Corp, but I decided to change the name fairly deep into development (I'm a english isn't my first language, and I had forgotten that NY was also used as an abbreviation of New York until a friend said so). I thought I had changed all of the instances of it being said, but it seems some slipped past my radar.

Yes! The saves are stored separately from the game, and can be shared among games if they have the same name, which they will!
So you can play the Demo without any fear of losing your progress.
