Released Pokémon Gold Rush

You play as a teen who separated from their sibling when arriving on an island, waiting for the ferry to travel to an unknown region. Due to hardships in your home region, you've never had a Pokémon of your own, and your eagerness for one gets you into trouble. After being saved by a powerful stranger, you must travel the island to begrudgingly return the favor.

This was made using RPG Maker XP via Pokémon Essentials v.19.1. I am currently working on getting my scripts figured out in v20.1, but I've been itching to get this project out to the public to get feedback.

This is meant to be a Demo for the full game and story, so it is admittedly short. The full game is planned to be a very different take on the progression normal Pokémon games take you on, more on that as we approach a proper release!

The level cap for this demo is 25. I appreciate any and all comments on this one, I'm in for the long haul to make this come to life.

- New Pokémon! My favorite part is new Pokémon designs, abilities, and moves in these fan games. In this demo there are 20 new species to see, 30 returning ones to fill out your team.
- Balancing changes for older Pokémon, not a lot of these are actually in the demo but are already programmed in regarding abilities or signature moves.
- Dynamic plot progression (multiple paths for reaching destination, and different dialogue options depending on what order you completed tasks)
