LinKazamine submitted a new resource:

[20.1+] HGSS Options Screen - Options Screen changed to look more like HGSS

It always seemed a bit weird to me that Pokémon Essentials had most of its aesthetics based on Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver but the Options menu looked more like the Diamond and Pearl one. So, I decided to make this script to change that.

The script comes with a configuration file with which you'll be able to change the text color and some of its positioning as well as two background examples to use with it: a dark one like the one in HeartGold and SoulSilver and a lighter version of...

Hey, thx you for updating this old resource. Bop was my my coder/helper in which we both design that idea as a script at that time and we released it for the public, i have more scripts from him, ones already updated to work with PEv20.1, in case you want to help update them of fixing them, let's meet on discord, i provide everything you'll need, plugins + graphics or even sounds. By the way, It was me who made thoose graphics, not bop, bop is the guy who made the script and the idea from me, but just credit me for the graphics. By the way, your updated version of it, by the looks of the pics, seem to work better, nice job.

Oh, I didn't know. I found the script on a post with his name and that's how I saved it. I'll update the credits then.

As for the scripts, I'm not a coder so I don't know if I'll be of much help to you.

Hey Lin, just leting you know that setting the Controls UI on Options Screen causes a Crash even if both are installed without edits, since according to the Controls UI, the method to call its screen is called SetControls.open_ui(menu), and thus it gives this error:

Exception: NameError
Message: undefined local variable or method `open_set_controls_ui' for #<PokemonOption_Scene>

Hello! I've been updating my project to version 21.1 after being in 20.1 for a while, and I've run into an issue regarding this plugin and the set control screen.
When I try to open the control screen from the option menu the game crashes, with the following error message:

"undefined local variable or method 'menu' for #<PokemonOptionScene>"

I think it may be due to a conflict with Voltseon's Pause Menu, as the error message details as such:

Those are the only plugins I have that affect the menu, I think. If needed, I can share the plugin list.

actually just go to line 191 on Options_Main.rb and change to SetControls.open_ui if @sprites["option"].index == @options.length
it was a silly mistake on both my part and Lins, but mostly mine for bot knowing before

LinKazamine updated [20.1+] HGSS Options Screen with a new update entry:

Crash with Control Screen

Changed the call for the Controls Screen from SetControls.open_ui(menu) to SetControls.open_ui in line 191 of Options_Main. Hopefully this should prevent crashes.

If you don't want to dowload and install it all again, just make the change I mentioned in your files. That line should end looking like that: SetControls.open_ui if @sprites["option"].index == @options.length.
