Up on the Housetop (title screen)

A holiday themed jam game which takes place between the events of None Pizza With Left Beef Chapter 2 Part 1 and 2.
(It is highly suggested that you read the webcomic for this to make a slight amount of sense. Its homestuck epilogues related so it will likely be a bit niche in terms of plot.)

This game was originally made for the Jingle Jangle Jam on rpgmaker.net, using v19.1 of Pokemon Essentials.

Current download:
Version 1.0.1

Known bugs with this version:
The credits refuse to roll (fixed in a later version)
Can walk through certain rocks (fixed in a later version)

For now, your yearly duty as Santa Claus calls upon you. (intro cutscene)

Plot:

It is the holiday season on Starter Planet and you, Thoren Emit, have the task of delivering presents to all the elves in the world.
However, things are different this year, as pokemon have begun to appear in the wild this year.
Having originally been raised in a world where pokemon were only fictional (though you never really got into it back then), this is surprising, but it certainly wouldn't be the weirdest thing you've experienced.
June Egbert however, is not taking this development quite as well. She seems overly concerned about how well this will mesh with the rest of the plot of her story, despite the fact that this is basically what reality is like on Starter Planet now. She's going to have to deal with it if she's going to continue working with Thoren.
We must continue forth or be cast into the flames of the dying past -Thoren Emit

This game has three missions to complete in a linear order, with encounters carefully scaled to fit the level ranges of the pokemon you'll be using.
Thoren has delivered Nelson's presents! (the dark interior of an apartment)

Features:

Mission based gameplay!
(the round interior of a little house)

Two different playable characters!
No catching whatsoever!
Oh! A wild Wingull appeared! (beginning of a standard wild battle)

A possible softlock if you somehow eat all the figy berries!
I present to you all, figy pudding. - Thoren Emit (right outside of a small round house in the woods)

The ending to die hard, with pokemon in it!
Meanwhile, an Altaria ridden by an FBI agent shoots fireballs at the Lucario! (Cutscene at the beginning of the final mission)
