  • Hi, Guest!
    Some images might be missing as we move away from using embedded images, sorry for the mess!
    From now on, you'll be required to use a third party to host images. You can learn how to add images here, and if your thread is missing images you can request them here.
    Do not use Discord to host any images you post, these links expire quickly!

DemICE submitted a new resource:

Detailed Error Messages for Players (and not only debug/playtest mode) - Have your players show you full error reports.

A tiny edit in the scripts that simply allows players to view detailed error reports that they can send to the devs to help them find the cause of the errors much much easier.
I would have made it into a plugin but it looks like this specific method does not work from a plugin.
Therefore it has to be a direct scripts edit.

def mainFunction
#if $DEBUG
pbCriticalCode { mainFunctionDebug }
#...

Where's the download? I can't see the button.
it's not a download. that is not a section you can just replace with a plugin. simply follow the instructions in the OP and comment out those lines

Ruby:
Expand Collapse Copy
Exception `ArgumentError' at Section031:29 - comparison of Integer with nil failed

I followed the instructions but it didn't work so I tried copying the Main script from a vanilla project and now this keeps showing up.
