WHY YOU SHOULD PLAY POKEMON SOULJA
-Tone unique from any other Pokemon game
-Level caps to prevent overleveling with early game EXP Shares and Lucky Egg
-Higher than average difficulty -Large Pokemon selection -Cameo super bosses for each gym
-Sidequest system (not utilized fully yet, sorry!
-Totally super mature story and dialogue!!!! (/s)
-New regional forms (no full on fakemon though)
Pokemon Soulja is a fresh journey, full of interesting areas and wacky NPCs. The story is a familiar story of evil teams, but with twists that sets it apart from other Pokemon games, so stay tuned for future updates! The gameplay itself, like previously mentioned, is aiming to be more difficult than an average Pokemon game but not being overly difficult, you can still get through the game using your favorites. The Pokemon variety itself is large, having around 7 Pokemon available per route with little repetition. The starters differ from the norm as well, being Shroomish, Slowpoke, and Houndour. If this sounds fun to you, try it!! Our community is still small, so any problems you have with the game are likely to be taken note of and adjusted. We're also looking for people to help us, mainly artists for both sprite art and tilesets, but if you're talented in another way that could be useful, your help would be greatly appreciated.
