Hey there! Unfortunately I couldn't finish this entry due to a glitch that occured after loosing to the officer at the end of the first case, however I do have a list of general thoughts about the game up to that point as well as many bugs to report. However, I will be a bit gentler than normal as I can tell this is definitely a first game.

Pros:
  • I thought the first case's concept was fairly interesting!
  • It's nice how I can talk to and interrogate a bunch of different people
  • I enjoy the Ace Attorney gameplay in a 3d space
Cons:
  • Mapping. This is the biggest one. Your towns and routes are far too open, to the point that a vast majority of the trainers and tall grass is entirely skippable. Also, your interiors are repeated too often. For instance, in the second town I saw three of the same apartment lobbies.
  • Dialogue. I found way too many typos, it would absolutely behoove you to play through at least once or twice to catch some of them. Some were misspellings, some were incorrect punctuation, and some were capitalization errors. I'm sure there were more I didn't catch as well.
  • The characters don't really have much to them in the way that AA does. I can't find much of a dissernable personality in our protagonist's character, and the chief is not much better. Nevermind the stock police officers, compared to the varied and unique cast of AA characters that we've come to enjoy.
  • The areas in which to present evidence are unclear. There are multiple lines in multiple testimonies pretaining to the same contradiction- for example. when the final officer talks about when he goes into the lounge but the security cameras say he's not there.
Overall, it could use some more brushing up. But I do personally congratulate you on putting together a game at all! That takes time and effort and regardless of skill level, it's still something to be proud of- not many people get this far.
