Story
Travel your way through the Chroma Region, defeat the Gyms and earn the title of Pokemon League Champion!
On your way collect a team of powerful Pokemon and meet Team Rumble who wish to capture the all of the Legendary Pokemon in the region but may risk upsetting the balance of nature in the process.

Team Rumble have their sights set on the legendary Pokemon of the Chroma Region.
They believe that humans are to blame for the state of the planet and the Pokemon will soon be sick of us treating the world the way we do.
In fear of a Pokemon rebellion Team Rumble strive to capture the strongest Pokemon so that they can use them as a means of fighting back!

Someone needs to stop them from upsetting the natural balance!

Once you've become the champion a new challenge awaits...

Note: Placeholder sprites have been used for evil team, but will be changed in the future.

Behind the scenes info
I've got plenty of projects which I'm working on but during November 2020 I tested positive with Covid19 and so began self isolation which gave me time to work on things as aI got better.
Eventually Pokemon Aureolin came into play and I got really into it and got very far with it's progress.


Bug Fixes & WIP
  • Add in an option to turn wild Pokemon level scaling on and off

  • Change bus system so that you can travel a little more freely between cities

- How do I play this on my phone?
This is not a rom and has been made on RPG maker, so far I do not know of anyway of being able to play these games on a phone

- What emulators do I need to play this?
This is a game made using RPG maker and Pokemon essentials and does not require an emulator to be played

- How to evolve Farfetch'd-G
Evolves at level 30

- How do you evolve Pokemon who evolve through trade?
All Pokemon will evolve with some method or other in game, you may need to give Pokemon their appropriate items and level them up
I.e. Give Poliwhirl a Kings Rock and level it up to obtain Politoed

- How do you evolve Chromian Forms
All first Stage Chromian Forms will evolve via happiness and then any further evolutions should occur as normal
Note some Chromian forms like Oddish may only have one of the two evolutions with Chromian forms (Bellossom)

- How do I evolve Magnezone?
Level up at the powerplant. This is the same for Probopass

- How do I get back from the slopes?
Interact with the bus stop sign

- What do I do once I have defeated Taison?
Taison is the last battle of the game and will stand to be the end.
I am working on plans for a post game based on feedback but I would like to make sure all bugs are fixed first.

- What is the Unknown Area on the map?
This is an area which plays a part depending on what route you pick.
This can be explored in a post game if people want to see it.

- Will "Insert Pokemon Name Here" get a chromian form?
I'm going to just keep Chromian forms as this game gets updates from time to time but new forms take a while to make.
If anyone wants to create new Chromian forms and send them through I'll be happy to take a look at adding them in.

- Why do you not have custom music?
I don't have any experience nor software to create my own music for fangames.
If anyone wanted to work on some and send it through I would be happy to give it a listen and maybe put it in if I feel it fits the game.

- How do you evolve Chromian forms?
All first stage Chromian forms will evolve through happiness

- How can I raise the happiness of my Pokémon?
Exactly how you would in the main series games.
Quick method is to use loads of vitamins on them and their happiness will shoot up.
There is also a daily massage in bergamot city and you can also equip a soothe bell as you travel around the region.
Please remember if your Pokémon faints it will lose happiness levels.
Catching a Pokémon in a luxury ball or a friend ball will also give a boost to its happiness.

Thanks to everyone who has downloaded and played the Pokemon Aureolin Demo so far.
I've now updated the Download for V1.1 with fixes for a set of reported bugs.
Unless there are anymore bugs found I aim to start work on the rest rest of the game, post demo for V2.
Please keep testing and letting me know any feedback whether on here on Twitter, I'm aiming for a V2 update mid feb which should allow much more of the game to be explored.

Just got to the sewers section and was unable to progress due to a glitch. I keep getting stuck in the doorframe while entering. Some few minor glitches here and there but nothing as game breaking as the previous statement.

Hi I'm not sure how you've managed to get that far as the demo is supposed to block the player off after the 2nd gym?
I think you have the version which was accidentally uploaded.
Anywhere past the Howling Forest hasn't been tested as of yet which is why you've encountered this problem.

I've fixed this now anyway so thank you for letting me know.
Could you let me know any of those minor bugs though so I can fix them?

Pokemon Aureolin Demo V2 is now live,

New version
  • Will progress with story
  • Players can now challenge 4th Gyms
  • Many Pokemon have had their Movepools edited for balancing and to incorperate brand new moves
  • Implemented regional varients with some new ones
  • Implemented a level scalling option into the game which needs testing

I've been able to fix all reported minor bugs but if anything new is found please do let me know
(there may still a few text problems but will be ironed out as new versions become available)

There are one or two things I still would like to add (new forms/items) but will not impact the story so I don't want to call the project completed as of yet.

Hmm so far it's working just fine just when I went to soft reset to get a good nature for the starter I was going with it would close itself but it works just fine if I close it and reopen it so it's not that big of a deal. I'm just curious can the starters get the HA when you pick them or is it just the normal ability?

The current plan is to have the normal abilities but I’m thinking of adding in a merchant who will sell the ability capsules and patches.

There’s already a mint merchant to fix nature’s but I’ve just found it’s currently bugged so I’ll get him fixed ASAP.

Is the new joltheon form is a mega evoltion?
That’s now the plan yes,
Unfortunately I’ve removed the mega stone currently as I’ve had to move the game files onto a new laptop, I’m not sure what’s happened but some of the files have been corrupt including the eeveelutions megas.
I’ll have to work on getting them remade in the near future.

unless you think we could work with a random mega jolteon some how?

I am in the slopes but didnt managed to getting out of there how i am suppose to be out of the slopes
