For the Essentials v20 version, there's no limit. For the Essentials v19.1 version, the limit is 8 characters.

Hi! im working with pokemon essentials GSC, and here i watch a message saying "character_ID"not defined for "Pokebattle_Trainer" i watch instructions but dont say anything for that script. I paste that part u say in the correct place. So idk what i have to do for apply (obviusly thanks for this script)

That's because this script only works with base Essentials v19.1. It does not support any other version or toolkit like Pokemon Essentials GSC.

Wonderful! It works now thanks to your fixes! The only thing I'd say is to fix the interaction with the following Pokemon after switching characters, but other than that, it's good now.

Ah, I thought I had fixed it before but I hadn't actually tested it :\ I've updated the script to have a tested fix (as always, make sure to restart your save).
