Raid Battles for v21.1
Implements Raid battle mechanics to set up challenging wild encounters.
Implements Raid battle mechanics to set up challenging wild encounters.

Overview
This plugin builds upon the Deluxe Battle Kit to add various new battle modes to allow for challenging boss fights against wild Pokemon. Raid battles have their own special mechanics that draw inspiration from and reimagine mechanics found in Max Raid Battles from Pokemon Sword & Shield, as well as Tera Raid Battles from Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. The end result is a hybrid that borrows and mixes the best ideas from both. This includes mechanics such as Raid shields, battle timers, and the ability for the Raid boss to use more than 4 moves, or attack multiple times per round.
In addition, this plugin also replicates the Max Raid Dens and Tera Raid Dens found on the overworld found in games from the main series. This will allow you to scatter dens across your maps to allow the player to come and revisit daily for a chance at challenging new Raid Pokemon, or even distribute your own unique Raid Den events to your players over the internet. Lastly, this plugin also includes a unique game mode known as Raid Adventures, which are inspired by Dynamax Adventures from SwSh's Crown Tundra DLC.
While this plugin is best used along side the Z-Power, Dynamax, and Terastal plugins, they are not required. This plugin introduces its own generic type of Raid battles that don't revolve around any battle gimmicks, allowing you to set up no-frills wild boss battles without depending on any of the gimmicks those plugins add.
Installation
- First, please install the latest version of the Deluxe Battle Kit. This plugin functions as an add-on to that kit.
- Next, download this plugin using the link provided and extract its contents to your root Essentials folder so that the Audio, Graphics, PBS, and Plugins folders in the download merges with their equivalent folders in your project.
- Start your game in debug mode and make sure you recompile by holding down the CTRL key while the game is booting up. If the console says "Game data was not compiled", then you didn't hold down the key long enough, or don't have the game window in focus.
