This resource pertains to version 21.1 of Pokémon Essentials.
  • When the player triggers a Z-Move while wearing an outfit, the animation will now properly display the trainer's current outfit during the animation.
  • Status move may now be used as the base move to be converted into an exclusive Z-Move. Previously, only damage-dealing moves would function correctly in this role.
  • The type of Z-Move that a base move is converted into will now take into consideration certain properties that alter that base move's type. For example, the move Weather Ball is normally converted into Breakneck Blitz due to being a Normal-type move. However, if the move's type is altered due to weather, it will instead be converted into the Z-Move of that type.
  • Included battle rules added by this plugin to DBK's battle rule applicator in the debug menu.
  • Made various additions in preparation for the Raid Battles add-on plugin.
  • Added missing GameStat tracker for wild Z-Move battles won.
  • Tweaked the methods that put a Pokemon into Ultra Burst form to ensure ability and stats are properly set after changing forms.

  • Fixed a bug that would prevent the Pokemon from playing its cry during the Ultra Burst animation.
  • Spinda will now properly display its spots during Z-Move/Ultra Burst animations.
  • Fixed a compatibility issue with the Animated Pokemon System add-on that would cause some sprites to display the incorrect Super Shiny hue during Z-Move/Ultra Burst animations.
  • Fixed a bug that would cause a crash when the AI has the move Copycat.
  • Made some minor adjustments in preparation for the release of the Animated Pokemon System add-on.
  • Z-Power mechanics will now show up in battle logs when battle logging is enabled.

  • Made some slight adjustments for compatibility with the Customizable Battle UI plugin. Button graphics are not provided, however.
  • Fixed an error that would occur when a Pokemon hit itself in confusion.
  • Fixed the Z-Booster item so that it only displays fail messages when appropriate.
  • Made it so the Z-Move Guardian of Alola may be assigned different animations based on which Tapu uses the move.
  • Made various tweaks in preparation for the release of the Dynamax add-on.
