Terastallization [DBK Add-On] [v21.1]

v21.1 Terastallization [DBK Add-On] [v21.1] v1.0.8

This resource pertains to version 21.1 of Pokémon Essentials.
  • Terastal mechanics will now show up in battle logs when battle logging is enabled.
  • Made some minor adjustments in preparation for the release of the Wonder Launcher add-on.
  • When an NPC trainer's AI wants to save Terastallization for their final Pokemon, it will now only count inactive party members. Previously, a Pokemon didn't count as their final one if they still had other active battlers on the field in double/triple battles.
  • The crystal overlays that appear on Tera Pokemon is now animated by default. This can be disabled.

  • Tweaked some code related to DBK's updated damage calculations.
  • Fixed a typo that would prevent damage bonuses from calculating accurately while Terastallized.
  • Fixed an issue that would prevent battlers from updating their ability after Terastallizing into a Terastal form.
  • Fixed an error that would occur with the Master Tera Jewel item when exiting from the Tera type selection menu without making a selection.
  • Fixed several errors that could occur related to Terastallization AI.
  • Fixed an oversight with the moves Transform and Reflect Type incorrectly copying a Terastallized target's Tera type instead of its original typing.
  • The move Tar Shot should no longer be able to apply its effect on Terastallized targets, as intended. The AI has also been updated to recognize this.
  • Made some slight adjustments for compatibility with the Customizable Battle UI plugin. Button graphics are not provided, however.
  • Fixed the Radiant Tera Jewel item so that it only displays fail messages when appropriate.
  • Fixed wild Tera battles not being counted properly.
  • The user's original typing prior to Terastallization is now properly tracked in situations where that original typing was changed by an effect.
  • Made some adjustments to how Tera Stellar tracks which types to boost in the event that Terastallization happens more than once.
  • Added messages to the debug battle logs that display AI scores for Terastallization.
  • Added battle debug options to allow you to edit Terastal values on battlers during combat.
  • Made various tweaks in preparation for the release of the Dynamax add-on.

  • Made it so that Tera Shards now work properly when used from the bag and the Bag Screen with interactable Party plugin is installed.
  • Consolidated all of the Terastal debug options into one menu option in the "Deluxe plugin settings..." for tidiness and better clarity.
  • Made it so that the Stellar type may no longer be considered when calculating a Pokemon's Hidden Power type.
  • Made various tweaks in preparation for the release of the Z-Power add-on.
  • Tweaked various areas of the script to ensure that the Shadow-type or other pseudo-types cannot be given as Tera types.
  • Added :Random be recognized as a valid type, allowing you to set a random Tera type on a Pokemon.
  • You may now give a species the TeraType_Random flag for that species to always generate with a random Tera type.
  • Added a new switch toggle to allow all Pokemon generated to spawn with a randomized Tera type.
