im playing on pc, and i found out that when i restarted the game it was less laggy so thats what i keep doing sometimes. (i found a small thing bug, when leaving emerald forest to route 8 you move down for some reason)

The only thing that bothers me is that it is really laggy on some maps. I've experienced this with more games from V19. I'm not sure if there is a way to fix it...
