    Taking a side step away from a game i've been thinking of making the last 2 years but couldn't get my brain to build a full story off my ideas, instead i've been working on a game loosely based on the anime-canon, focused around Gary Oak for my first project. XD

    Originally this one was going to be about more than one of Ash's rivals from the anime with different character options
    but the Gary portion is taking quite some time to work on as I rewatch the early anime that i'm only focusing on it for now.

    I'm learning a bit more about Gary's character than I thought i'd ever care to know from working on this.
    Did you know in earlier story drafts of his anime character he has an uncle who's the mayor of Pallet Town
    and who hires the cheerleaders that follow Gary around?

    A while back I put boulders as a placeholder for Ash's Tauros, looked so odd to watch all the moving boulders in their natural habitat. /j
