Hello! Hope you are all having a good day!

I am the head of the Pokemon Xenoverse remake project, and while we have published a demo that covers half the game just a few weeks back, our plans for the next portions of the game are rather ambitious.
While we are determined to carry it through, we also think players deserve to experience it in a timely manner, and as such we would really appreciate more help to see this manifest.

Before I go off listing who or what we need help with, there is a lot to go over, but this thread will help provide all the context for the project.

Caught up now? Great! Let's get started to what we are in need of, in no particular order:
  • Artists that can recreate the official artstyle (Gen 4-5 and beyond)​

Xenoverse itself was very ambitious, using artwork to display Pokemon portraits, character portraits, trainer artwork before a battle and also big, beautiful splash arts for bosses.
In short, we are in need of someone who can replicate the artstyle, mainly to give life to the new characters (main and NPCs alike) that we wish to introduce, starting from the second half of the game.
This would all be in service of a more lively, cohesive, and varied game and narrative experience, as we wish to include new faces, as well as polish up old ones, for the next stretch of game, all the way to an expanded postgame.

  • Musicians, to provide more variety in battle themes and ambient tracks.​

Just as we wish to introduce new characters, we also wish to introduce new locales to make the Eldiw Region even more wide and wonderful, and as such new musical accompaniments are in need. As for characters, some of them deserve unique battle themes, as well as many other Postgame Bosses, all in service of a stronger, defining identity for them all to stick in the minds of players.

  • Playtesters, to help catch bugs and assess balance.​


Balance is a very tricky endeavor, and having people dedicated to assessing the power of individual Pokemon or broader strategies across a playthrough would help gather important data that we can use to craft a stronger, more even game experience for everyone.
The next sections of the game, furthermore, are going to be ambitious, and with ambition comes room for mistakes to seep through and ruin everything. So to ensure that the published builds are not subject to easy to find game crashing bugs, a few extra players to find them before the builds are made public could go a long way in sparing developers and players alike a lot of headaches.

With that, these are the positions we are in most need of at the current time. We would really appreciate the help to ensure this project reaches its completion in a reasonable time, and provide an enjoyable, memorable experience for everyone.
