The Role
- Create GBA-style Pokémon tilesets in a style similar to Magicscarf
- Work from design documents / real-life photo references.
- Collaborate with the team via Discord.
- Iterate on tiles based on the Art Director's (password is pixelart) feedback.
- A portfolio with sprite based overworld tilesets that resemble GBA or DS Pokémon titles.
- Ability to respect the constraints of the GBA hardware (constrained palette and limited unique tiles).
- Solid grasp of sprite color theory and lighting.
- Knowledge of Pokémon core games.
- Experience with creating video games or providing assets for video games.
- Experience with GBA development.
