Hello! I’m King Bacon, the solo developer behind Pokémon Norden, a Pokémon fangame currently in early development.
Pokémon Norden is set in a region inspired by the Scandinavian Peninsula (Norway, Sweden, and Denmark), with strong influences from Nordic landscapes and Norse mythology. The project is still in its foundation stage, which is why I’m looking to build a small but passionate team to help shape the region, Pokémon designs, and overall experience from the ground up.
The game is being developed using RPG Maker XP with Pokémon Essentials. Planned features include Mega Evolution, region-specific Pokémon forms, and the possible introduction of a new custom type (still in the concept phase). Starter Pokémon designs are already underway, and the project’s direction is flexible and open to collaboration.
I’m currently looking for:
This project is a collaborative passion project, and contributions, ideas, and creativity are welcome. Whether you want to help design Pokémon, write lore, or work on the technical side, there’s room to get involved.
Note: These designs are subject to change and this project was previously known as Pokémon Glacier and was originally posted by me on an older account that was banned. Pokémon Norden is a reboot and rebranding of the same project.

- Spriters & sprite animators
- Pokémon Essentials / RPG Maker XP developers (especially eventing and scripting)
- Writers & idea contributors (lore, characters, worldbuilding)
