Hi everyone, for those who have been around as long as I have you might remember me from my completely random resources from tiles to the odd features being added into essentials such as the BW Bubble message script.
I've decided to bite the bullet and accept the fact I'm going to need help with development now. Having done the majority of the development myself over the last few years with me actually being more serious at developing the game in the last few months. There's only so much I can do by myself before realising progress is slowing down further and further as the list of things to do becomes higher.
ROLES:
Scripter - Someone who's happy to work along side me as freelance work to help out with updating UI's and doing general bug fixes.
Mapper - This is not so much needed but nice to have someone from time to time to help.
Spriter - A few options available for this. Needing help to do Tiles, Overworld graphics, Trainer/Fakemon Sprites.
UI Designer - This is something I need more than the others, with the UI's of the game needing a massive overhaul to be a bit more original looking. I can code them, I just suck at actually designing them visually.
Writer - Someone who's willing to design the dialogue within the game. I've been doing OK with it but nice to have a different perspective to help with this.
Project Manager - Ironically something I find quite handy. Someone who's happy to plan out new features for the game but ultimately decide how the story develops within the game and what area's to focus on. Although I have a vision, a second person with a fresh perspective is always a nice to have.

So little bit about the game. It is a fully custom region that I've been working on for quite a while making my own tiles for it and dynamically designing as I go along with each map. The whole plan is keeping Pokémon up to Gen 4 within the game while also adding in potentially just shy of 100 new Pokémon to the game to really help the region be it's own eco system. With overworld spawning giving a little bit more of a dynamic feel to the overall atmosphere of the game.
It's based more on the development of the passing of Pokémon and how they progress on to the afterlife. Naturally like most Cannon games, there's always an evil group about to try and abuse their knowledge and take advantage of the afterlife of Pokémon for their own intent.
There will be new characters as well as potentially existing characters coming over to the region to help with the dynamics of the story as it progresses.
THE ENGINE:
I'm currently using Pokémon Essentials V21.1 for the development of the game.
At the moment there isn't really any unique features to really shout about. I've got the ambigous idea of running a dual screen, which although not super common, isn't a feature I find something to shout about.

Dynamic event interactions with floating speech.
Possibly a side question system (TBC)
Ironically more detailed overworld such as getting stuck in the snow and marsh XD
