I'm not sure where to post this thread, or if something like this has been asked before.
But I am curious if there are any resources or general knowledge of how/if I could animate the in-battle Pokémon sprites; to mimic that of DPPt/HGSS in Essentials.

(Examples)
I find the type of animation where they twist, scale, move, and swap between Pokémon sprites to be really charming.
So if there is any way I could make that work (or find it, if it's out there), I'd love to know!

the only plugin that animates the sprites are from Lucidious Plugin, but they are an Add-on to DBK/Deluxe Battle Kit and is mandatory having DBK installed to use Animated Sprites

That one only does gen 5 style animations as far as I know.

I actually have been working on a plugin for this though, but it isn't ready for release yet (v21 broke it and I wanted to release it alongside my game, but I burned out on Essentials until just recently so I still need to work on the plugin more). I have a video of it though to show it'll be possible once released:

Oh that looks great, wonderful work! (Even if it broke with v21)
But splendid in that case; best of luck if you keep on working on it!
