I'm opening this as a Feedback thread, in part because I want to see if people have ways they'd prefer the system to be with a few small adjustments to amplify fun factor, but also because I want to try and meet higher expectations here. Hoping that putting it in this space can spur discussion.

SO: What would you do to bolster the Wild Encounter system to make it more fun? My small team of friends and I are making a game, and we're looking to incentivize capturing a lot of Wild Pokémon for dex completion. However... that's just incentives. That isn't going to improve catching Wild Pokémon itself.

Current thoughts are:
1. Capture rate for some balls can be increased a bit.
2. Bait may be an item that can be added to wild battles, in some way or another, which would increase capture rate.
3. It may be feasible to have a "sneak" mechanic wherein you can get the jump on a wild encounter, like how in Legends: Arceus, you can physically sneak up on something and engage it with no battle.

Anyone got anything they think can improve the capture systems and wild encounters to make it feel more fulfilling? Any suggestions open! Thank you!!

Just stumbled upon the Wonder Launcher, completely forgetting it existed, and remembered the O-Power system which ALSO had an influence on capturing...

Still looking for ideas!!
