how do i make a sibling rival?

i have read the Rival bit on the wiki but i cant make heads or tails of how to do what i want my trainers are siblings and i can't figure out how to do it properly like how both playable characters can be swapped in Pokémon platinum depending on the gender you choose i wanna do that with the siblings but i cant figure it out on my own

Add a control switch that changes the sprite that the rival uses and make an extra event page anytime you talk to your rival.

I created game switches for my fan game: Switch 76 is for the Male player character, Switch 77 is for the Female player character, and Switch 78 is for the Non Binary player character.

how would you code the rival's page in the intro event? to name them and such with like a drop box of names or to input a custom name like you would in fire red and leaf green

Something like this. You can copy the name code from the rival on Route 3 in default Essentials.
