Spin tiles??

How in the world do you make spin tiles happen without using 8000 events on the map? I'd love to put them in a Team Rocket-style base, but I have very little idea how to do that. Designate a new type of tile, similar to the ice tiles? Anybody have thoughts?

I did manage to have spin tiles work by using the script komeji shared so if you have some knowledge about ruby you can do it too.
