Overview Team Recruitment Forum Rules

This is a forum for members to seek additional team members for their projects or to volunteer themselves for any teams looking to pick someone up.

An explanation of the two thread prefixes and purposes are as follows:

• The [Recruiting] prefix should be used when you want to recruit additional members for a team project. Typically this is a fan game or some other long term commitment.
• The [Freelance] prefix exists for offering your services and skills to others. You'll want to show examples of what you're capable of.

Reminder that commissions (for real or virtual money) are allowed to be advertised in Freelance posts, but all financial matters (including links to send money) must be discussed offsite and staff cannot be accountable for any issues that may arise, so please take extra care in these situations.

For your recruitment thread to be approved, you must meet the following criteria:

• The title of the thread must be the title of the project if one exists, or "Untitled Project" otherwise.
• Each thread must have a clear and unambiguous list of positions being recruited for. Nobody is going to contact you if they don't understand what you're looking for.
• Each thread must have a clear project description, and must state what kit, if any, is being used. For instance, "Pokémon Essentials", or "Pokémon SDK".
• Each thread must have a plot outline, if applicable.
• Each thread must have a list of unique features. This does not include commonly used resources such as Elite Battle System, and shouldn't be very generic, such as "brand new region".
• Each thread must have at least 4 images or screenshots that are unique to your project and tell us something about what your project entails. As such, generic Pokémon Essentials screenshots, such as an unmodified battle system, do not count towards this threshold.
• Each project is allowed one active thread at most.

Any thread that goes 30 days without a post will be archived. If you're still looking for help or are still offering your services, feel free to bump your thread once every 10 days. If you're still not able to find any interested parties, perhaps you should add more details to your thread.

Posts in a thread should be about team recruitment, not critiquing someone's project. Feedback is more appropriate in their Game thread, if they have one.
