Aside from being a fan of the Pokemon franchise, are you also a fan of Marvel, DC, and other franchises? Are you knowledgeable about different franchises that we can explore alongside the Marvel and DC universes? Are you skilled enough to help develop a fan game revolving around the Marci Region, a region where the Pokemon have characteristics from your favorite Marvel and DC characters? We need you!
About the game:
Pokemon Multiverse is a fan game that aims to bring the nostalgic experience of playing classic Pokemon while tapping into your love for different characters like Superman, Ironman, Batman, Joker, Wolverine, and many more! I also intend for it to be a story-driven game that teaches lessons and touches hearts in different ways. Imagine Spiderman having moves like U-Turn and Sticky Web, while Deadpool possesses the ability Regenerator.
The game is made using RPG Maker and Pokémon Essentials.
Features:
(Currently, most of the features are what's already in Pokemon Essentials, but I'm open to adding more if the team intends to.)
400+ new Pokemon with front and back sprites
20+ new moves
30+ new maps
Entirely new characters and storyline
Requirements:
#1: Kindness
Prior experience working with Pokemon RPG Maker XP
Deep knowledge of Pokemon, as well as the Marvel or DC franchises
Able to work with a team with a high priority on respect and camaraderie
Positions needed:
Pokemon RPG XP Script Programmers
Will handle most of the programming for the game
Knowledgeable in different basic scripts on Pokemon RPG Maker XP, such as text, warp, giveaway, shops, cutscenes, etc.
Character Data Experts
Will contribute to the project by adding Pokemon info like stats, moves, abilities, etc.
May also help with writing Pokedex entries
Must be knowledgeable about Marvel and DC characters, as well as the stats, moves, and abilities of the canon Pokemon.
Project Writers
Will handle most of the writing in the project, including NPC scripts, both major and minor NPCs.
Also, the primary team for creating Pokedex entries
Must have played at least 4 Pokemon games
Map experts
Will be the main individuals handling map creation and collaborating with the Script Programmers.
Must be artistic and have some knowledge of the software.
