Common Developer Issues - Just a collection of common stumbling blocks and their solutions.

I've noticed a few issues tend to come up more often for new devs, and I figured it'd be nice to have one place to stash them all rather than always linking back to threads.

These are written for v20 Essentials, and I will be trying to keep it current for any future Essentials updates. Depending on the topic, though, some solutions may still be applicable for prior versions. (Stuff not directly affected by Essentials like tiles and image editing will remain the same)

The images linked are not displaying for me. I'm not sure if this is an issue on my end or if they are no longer hosted in link address. I am having compiling issues but I can't see the images in the tutorial.

Unfortunately, the original poster, to our knowledge given this thread's current state, has not reached to the mods to resolve this issue, but it shouldn't be because of anything on your end.

Part of our new policies on the forums is that attachments through the website are no longer allowed. It's on the thread author to upload these images elsewhere such as imgur, and embed them on the thread here.
