Heyo! I'm Magikarp and I'm looking to recruit some people to help me in making my Pokemon fan-region evolve into a full fledged fan-game, currently titled Pokemon Marble.
I'm looking to recruit any role, as any amount of help is appreciated, but there are a few in specific I am especially looking for:
-Spriters (the battle sprites will be 160x160 across the board)
-Mappers
-Concept artists
The current team is (all of the names are our names in the Discord server for this project)
-Me, the head of the team. I mostly manage dex/balance stuff and commission artists
-Maya (Programmer, Dex Manager, Balance Team)
-Whittly (Story, artist)
-Shibi (Spriter, Artist, Dex Manager, Balance Team)
-Avery (Story)
-Marco (Dex Manager, Balance Team)
-Ronin (Dex Manager, Balance Team)
-Cole (Musician, Programmer, Balance Team)
-Elijah (Musician, Programmer, Balance Team)
The project will be done using Pokemon Essentials v20.1
Pokemon Marble will take place in the Ochyro Region, based on the real-world country of Greece, where you will wake up on the morning of your 18th birthday: The day you can finally become a Pokemon Trainer. Set out on your odyssey across the region where you'll face 8 labors, uncover ancient Gods, face off against the ritualistic and violent Team Ichor, and deck yourself out in the latest and greatest Pokemon-inspired fashion, and more!
Features:
-Nearly 100 Greek-inspired Fakemon, roughly half of which have been fully drawn and colored (and these numbers are ever growing!)
-A non-binary player character option (Fully drawn)
-Character customization via clothing (Planned)
-4 new Weather conditions and 4 new Terrain effects (Planned)
-Currently 34 new Abilities and 54 new Moves
-Gimmick: Olympic Attacks! Strong 1PP attacks that all have powerful secondary Effects (Planned)
-And more to come!
