This project is very new, development only having started about a week before this thread was uploaded.
However, it is already making steady pace and has a tiny community supporting it.
- Game Description -
'Untitled Pokémon Fangame' is an early-in development, complete overhaul of an original unfinished fangame, which dates back to early 2019. This fangame, as the name suggests- is untitled at the moment and will remain that way for awhile.
In a divided region rests an even more divided family.
The story follows you and your elder sister tracking down the rest of your family, who abandoned you both at a young age.
Traverse across diverse areas and tame unique pokémon in order to reveal the secrets lying in the dark.
Will feature:
- All pokemon through Gen 8
- 12 Gyms
- Unique Starters (set of starters from an already existing mainline Pokemon game, but they seem to have taken a different form...)
- Consistent community interaction, such as polls that will affect certain additions or subtractions to the final game. Players being able to make suggestions of any kind that may end up in the game
- Certain choices you make throughout the game WILL affect the overall story, whether it be a minor or large event
- Relationship system with characters, ties with the choices mentioned above, bad choices may make certain characters hate you, good ones will make them like you. Their interactions with you will (hopefully) completely depend on how you decided to interact with them in the past
- Distinct region with 6 different major areas to explore
- Storyline with a darker theme
- References to numerous popular fangames
- Lots more to come!
- unfortunately, since the game is so early development, we don't have much of the game to visually show off at the present moment.
- this is purely a passion project, done for fun and out of love for the pokemon franchise.
- it is still uncertain whether we will feature fakemon in our game, but new forms/variants for already existing pokemon is a must.
the player's decisions influcing the story is a big part of what will make this project unique. hopefully most players will be able to have different experiences during their playthroughs depending on the decisions they make.
game is inspired by pokemon reborn & ofc mainline pokemon games

any outside sources / other fangames assets are gained from, they are all temporary and will be removed in the final product, all sources that assets are used from will be credited respectively.

Now Recruiting..
- Spriters (top priority)
Looking for people to create sprites for the game. From trainer sprites to tilesets, it would be a big help to have someone on board who knows what they're doing.
No particular level of skill required, just having someone to make the sprites while the other members can handle other tasks would be great.
- Scripters
I can handle the easy in-game scripting such as creating events myself, but I think I will need someone more experienced to help out down the line.
Anyone who is capable of understanding how the game's scripts work can be recruited for the job.
- Composers
Although I am fine with using the generic pokemon soundtrack, having an original soundtrack would truly enhance the game's experience, I feel.
Anyone with experience of making music for fangames can take up the position.
I'm sure there's more parts to a team that I'm neglecting to list, but we are always looking for more help. As do many others, making a full-fledged fangame has been a childhood dream of ours, and we would love to make it a reality.
