Pokemon Island is a fangame made using RPG Maker VX Ace that combines elements from both the main Pokemon series and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. After choosing the offered starter Pokemon, you find yourself washed up on a mysterious island and turned into a Pokemon! In order to return to your old life, you must journey across the island to reach and climb to the top of Frozenstop Peak, the highest mountain on the island, where Lugia lives, so you can ask him to turn you back into a human. Along the way, you'll come across many new Pokemon with varying personalities who may decide to join you on your adventure as partners. You'll also soon find that reaching Frozenstop Peak isn't your only objective; you also must find a way to take down the villainous Scarborn Gang, a syndicate of evil Pokemon who've been terrorizing the island. Though with new friends by your side, you'll surely be able to accomplish your goal! After all, it can't be that hard, ...right?
It was many years ago when the mysterious island was formed. Not many people know about it, but those who do aren't ever able to tell anyone else. This is because of the odd forcefield of power surrounding the island. It is rumored that whoever sets foot on the island will instantly be turned into a Pokémon. They still keep the memories of their former selves, but can never turn back into a human again, therefore having to face the fact that they may as well live on the island for the rest of their days.
Now, this isn't a place to be miserable. In fact, this island is home to all different types of Pokémon, all thriving with eachother in harmony. There are, however, dangers to be wary of, such as the Scarborn Gang, a group of Pokémon who plan on taking over the island for themselves. They capture Pokémon on the island and make them join their gang, usually forcefully, by hypnotizing, brainwashing, or threatening them. The gang's camp is located on the far end of the island, known as The Outskirts, a place where any smart Pokémon would never dare to traverse.
Besides that, well...the island is a very peaceful and serene place to be, with many different places to explore. Lugia, the Pokémon who originally formed the island with the help of Ho-oh, rests atop of Frozenstop Peak, the highest and most grand mountain on the island. It's very dangerous to climb the mountain, but some desperate Pokémon do, seeking the wise guardian's knowledge. Lugia helps protect the island from most dangers, especially the threat of humans ever reaching it by the creation of the protective barrier.

I've been very excited to share this project, so any feedback or questions would be appreciated! I'd also wish that I could release a demo, but others have been warning me that Nintendo might shut this down if I do, so I'll hold off for now.
