- Variant forms of various Pokémon, that persisted and evolved in the underground region
- Unique Boss Fights using Battle Scenarios/Mid-Battle Dialogue (Totem Pokémon)
- Open-ended exploration, with each major part of the region being a "puzzle" of their own
- Lots of stand-alone puzzles
- Some new mechanics, such as Move Reminder from the Summary Menu

Generation 4 Overworld Artists for Sprites and Tiles (High priority)
Generation 4 Overworld Artists for Sprites and Tiles (High priority)
- We are looking for sprite artists capable of creating important landmarks, large relics, and other lore relevant structures. This would include things such as a large Regirock statue, or a giant skeleton found in a corner of the desert.
- We are also looking for sprite artists capable of creating themed tiles for the specific zones in the game. In the post-jam version, we're looking for somebody capable of creating high quality custom tiles (or edit of tiles matching the current art-style) of closely matching those of Swamps, Crystal Caves, Wastelands, and Savannahs. Overworld lighting, fogs, and effects are also included in this position for those capable of creating them!
- Also welcome are those willing to examine the flow of the world's tileset variety put together as a result of the deadline. I'd say we did a great job given our time limit, but now that we are no longer restricted by such, sustained and consistent polish of the world's artstyle are welcome. It'd be highly preferable if you are at least capable of making example edits for improvements.
Graphic/UI Artists
- We are searching for individuals with an aptitude for UI/UX, and adjustments to the current menu and battle graphics. We'd prefer to not use default menu graphics now that we are no longer bound by a time limit.
- We are in want of trainer sprites for the main characters. The game can function fine without them, but it'd be really nice to see them.
- Preferable are artists capable of better reflecting events and cutscenes in the current game. Our team completely lacks a dedicated art director/graphics expert and so, most graphics (Pokémon sprites are completely taken care of though) are "homebrewed" by the lead developer.
Miscellaneous (Low Priority)
- Anyone that has completed the game and has vital feedback or improvements they can provide are welcome! Since we only have a 4 person team, we couldn't possibly cover all of our bases in a 1 month time frame. This includes but is not limited to, Music, Art, Story, Eventing, Portraits, and etc. Basically, please provide something rather than just giving out ideas.
