Any ways to make a Pokemon Fangame with DS graphics?

Hey all! I'm new to the forum and not quite sure if this is where i'm supposed this, but I was wondering if there was any way to develop a fangame with gen 4 / 5 graphics? thank you In advanced!

Gen 4 and 5 are pretty different styles, but yeah, you can do any style you want, even a style from another game or an entirely unique style. You just need to format it for RPG Maker XP.

Radical Raptr has a guide here for overworlds. (There's packs for existing sprites already in the Resources section, though, so you don't need to worry about doing them all yourself)
