Released Pokemon Postal Service (Incomplete Release!)

This project has a release available. The full version is still a work in progress.

Pokémon: Postal Service

Thank you for your interest in my short and cheaply made fangame, Pokémon Postal Service!
As the name implies, you will be taking the role of a postal service worker named Myles (or whatever you decide, entirely up to you) who travels the region delivering letters.

This game was made using RPG Maker XP and Pokémon Essentials v18, the ladder of which is credited to (primarily) to Maruno and others associated with his work.
I do not take credit for any work done on the engine itself.

What is "Pokemon: Postal Service?"

Pokemon Postal Service is something that I wouldn't really call a typical "game."
Rather, I would classify it as an interactive adventure set in the Pokemon world with a unique perspective that one wouldn't often see displayed in a game like this.

This game's story is episodic, and these episodes are all set in independent locations.
Each episode will feature a story about one specific recipient of a letter delivered by Myles, and the bonds formed by the contents of that letter.
There will be a good ending and an average ending depending on how much the player speaks to the other important members of the story prior to the ending.

Features!

The main feature of Pokemon Postal Service is, clearly, the story.
I recognize the game is rather short right now, but I hope I'm able to tell a compelling story within the hour or so you'll spend with the game.

For "starters" (pun intended) the player will not be given a choice of starters.
Instead, they will be granted a single level 10 Hoothoot with a customized moveset, custom battle sprite, re-balanced stats and moveset, and a new ability: Prankster.

As mentioned before, the story of each episode features multiple endings, and so it is possible to finish the game in multiple ways.
Though just how those endings shape up is to be seen in the future!

Pokemon: Postal Service also features many small improvements, such as IV stars (seen above), Following Pokemon, Name Windows when speaking to NPCs, and more that you'll just have to play to see.

Why is this an incomplete release?

Pokemon: Postal Service is missing a number of assets, not limited to trainer battle sprites and icons.
As well, the game currently features only one episode to play through. I hope to add more, but it is simply a matter of motivation.

I am currently looking for spriters to help me finish these missing assets and writers to assist with these aspects, but that does not mean you should be stopped from experiencing the game as intended.
If the assets come and people show interest, then the game will be updated accordingly.
