Region Description: The Elato region is a lush, mountainous region far away from other regions. Due to the varying climates of the Elato Region, many types of Pokémon make their homes there. It also accounts for the diversity of the Pokémon that lives there. One of the memorable parts of the Elato is a Volcano on the southeastern side that has laid dormant for thousands of years…..

Plot Background: Thousands of years ago, Arceus created what is now the Elato Region. The people that lived in the Elato region grew to be happy and prosperous. To preserve the sanctity of the region, Arceus bestowed a special relic onto whom it saw fit, being the KIng. After the King died, a civil war to decide who received the divine relic ensued which destroyed the fabric of the region. The other legendary Pokémon, to attempt to end the war, broke the fragment into many pieces.The war ended, and then the region slowly rebuilt itself, and the Fragments were hidden in protected spaces. During the plot, thousands of years later, you move to the Elato Region after tragically losing your father.Ever since you were a kid, you had a goal to become the best trainer that there ever was. Now, you have the opportunity to do that. But, nothing comes that easy. You have to beat the 12 gyms of the Elato Region and win the world-renowned Elato tournament which proves to be a task within itself. Knowing all of this, can you even imagine what an adventure you're in for?

Looks like a slight spin on the normal pokemon adventure with more gyms and a different kind of story. I look forward to where you take the story, but to be honest, it does remind me a bit of the Insurgence story, but I guess I don't know too much about your plot yet so I can't really say. Also, the maps you've shown off look pretty good and interesting, hopefully I can playthrough and explore them one day. Keep up the work!

Hi!
I just wanted to give a few updates on development, for anyone interested.

• I made adjustments to the story for clarity purposes.
• I am in the process of adding new areas to extend playing time.
• I made a logo (It's temporary, but It'll do.)(see above)

I also am going to release what I wanna call an Alpha by the end of the year.
The release is going to be a way to showcase the story of the game to people who are interested in playing.
Keep in mind, due to my lack in art skills, most of the Overworlds aren't completed. So, you'll see familiar faces from past games.
My hope is that by releasing an "Alpha", I'll garner some interest to get a pixel artist and other team members to assist me with the project.

What I need to make this game to be the best that it can be:

• I need someone who can make custom overworld sprites(4th Gen Style).
• I need someone who can make "battle" sprites for new characters in the game.
• I need someone who can create some custom tracks for my game.
• I need someone who can assist me in adding new features in my game, like a extended poketech.
• I need someone who can help me to develop an awesome story for everyone to see.
• I need someone who can help create custom tilesets for gyms and various enviorments for the game(4th or 5th Gen Style)

bjfinest34 your game looks good. According to me, this feature is best: Retyped Pokémon and Mega Pokémon.
And a pikachu that is fairy, it will be very badass.

Over the last couple of months, I've been getting requests for different positions for my game. Alas, I'm putting this project on a hiatus until further notice. I'm putting all of my efforts onto another project that I've been helping develop for a while: Pokémon Misanthropy. Development on that game is coming along well, and I hope that everyone can enjoy the game once it's released.
