    I've been encountering a problem where, after resetting a pokemon's EVs and retraining them, the new stat changes from the training don't apply and I can't figure out why. Edit: The stat changes just randomly applied well after I finished training them and doing a few more fights.

    The EV trainer in Coral Town has a Sandy Cloak Wormadam in her Special Defense team even though it gives Defense EVs and not Special Defense. Plant Cloak Wormadam gives Special Defense EVs and Trash Cloak Wormadam gives both (one of each).
