Yes, I was playing the game on 1.12 before, then my game was crashing after I got out of the 7th gym, so I updated the game to 1.2, so I guess I never got the rebecca quest before, and now team gaia is back from dead since I beat the pokemon league yesterday.

I just played the game, and I went through the emerald forest this time, and I Rebecca showed up. I believe then that there is a bug that when you go to the south entrance to route 8 from Lyditia, it's starts the quest with her dialogue but not her sprite from the south entrance instead of you...

Wait, your supposed to come out of the emerald forest? I've been flying to Lyditia and going to the south entrance to route 8, and that's where the dialogue happens. Hopefully I've just been doing it wrong.

I downloaded 1.2.9 from here, but I technically started the quest from 1.2.8, but I didn't save the game after I started the quest, so I went back to my last save.

Hello, is the researcher around route 8 supposed to invisible? I'm guessing it's probably a bug. So I was just sharing it with you. By the way I am playing on the latest version, 1.2.9.
