Unfortunate but risk for only using small number of beta tester. From my experience small number beta tester only works on professional game development because they get paid and their full time job is to find bug so their attention not go anywhere

Try restarting your wifi or disable or do both. This problem often happens to fangame that use use launcher like edelweiss Chronicle and dimension defender. Hope this can help

I remember that bug on old pokemon essentials, it's annoying can't even move in that big city with poison gym, i remember people complaining in discord and people searching way to resolve in together in discord by watching some old video what to do with the lag although not really resolve it...
