i loved Mining in Pokemon Platinum, it definitely needs to be used more, especially in trade for high end goodies, which sadly are not that often sought when there's no PVP to speak of in Essentials.

i totally agree SpartaLazor, the weaker Pokemon are indeed the ones who need it most, especially Pokemon with no Evos to speak of, like Miltank and Dunsparce.

except half the time i dont want a shiny because of how bad the alternate palette is, there are some cool ones but i have to say that most shiny palettes are an eyesore to put it nicely.

i'll be checking these out as i have only came up with two ideas for fakemon out of the planned 151, and one of them was conceived by my significant other.

i'm not against keeping them rare, i just dont like the idea of having to spend hours and hours of hunting to find one, the Masuda method helps out so i am not really complaining, i just find it a bit TOO rare an occasion to run into a Shiny.
