I'll probably try to aim for a compatible build later down the line, since it would also allow me to fix the music being unable to be looped, but I don't really have the knowledge required to set it all up, so I can't offer any sort of guarantee when that would be.
Dropped a new patch, v0.4.14, that fixes up a few previously mentioned crashes and adds a bit more futureproofing to prevent similar issues later down the line.
Hm, if it's not fixing mid-battle my remaining suggestions for potentially fixing it are
1) Place any alternate-form pokemon into the PC and retrieve it, that might refresh the stats
2) Use an EXP candy on them (can be gotten from raids), if possible
If neither works, feel free to message me...
The previous issue with the shuffled form data resulted in the pokemon on your team getting their exp rates temporarily shifted, which changed their levels. Now that the issue is fixed, the pokemon should be updating back to their normal levels upon getting EXP, which is what's causing the issue.
Are you using the latest patch?
And if so, how many badges do you have, and are you playing on hard mode?
I've tried every combination of badge + difficulty mode and the only time I ever received an error was when I attempted to activate the battle while having 0 badges, which should not be...
The typing is indeed Water/Bug.
I recommend reinstalling and reapplying the latest patch, since it seems that the previous patch had some issues with the files determining form typing getting wrongly replaced
Shiny odds are technically at a roughly 2.25% chance, but there's three possible shiny variations at equal odds, which technically puts it at a roughly 0.75% for any specific shiny type.
I figure there's no harm in making shinies more common since all it does in practice is boost the odds of...
I have absolutely no clue why that error would be triggering from an overworld encounter of all things but I threw together a quick fix and in the process fixed another major issue that was popping up with roaming Pokémon.
I updated the download links and threw in the patch, hopefully that...
Save data will remain compatible with future versions. Maintaining the save data of my original playtesters is one of the reasons I never properly updated past v18.
Cut isn't acquired until after the second gym. You'll need to go to Route 3 and get the Rock Smash HM from a hiker there.
Huh, I seem to be having trouble with it too, I've tested it before and had no issues, I might need to change the scripts around to be safe.
I think if you can rename the current 'Game' to something else and then rename 'Game_old' to 'Game', it should be able to open.
Hm, unfortunate. Without any way to troubleshoot I'm not sure if there's anything I can do to fix it.
Every instance I know of that's had issues on starting battle doesn't seem to have any consistent trigger for it, which makes it a nightmare to check for.
Sorry, hadn't seen the post earlier.
Sharfeeto base stats are 144/50/173/10/50/173 (speed is the fourth, the last two are the special stats)
Bidoom base stats are 120/125/120/10/105/120
Magizard's stats are 124/143/90/10/143/90 and its hidden ability is Adaptability
Slowno's stats are...
Whoops, might have forgotten to add the overworld sprites to the patch instead of just the battlers 💀
Surprised it's taken this long for anyone to report that, but I'll fix it real quick.
I think I see what a potential cause was, though I'm not entirely sure why it would have triggered at the point that it did.
Dropping another .1 patch in the main post, let me know if the issue still persists.
Odd. Try running the game from the other executable and see if it gives a message. I'll check it myself once I'm home.
EDIT: Yeah, I can't seem to replicate it at all on my end even while trying out different combinations of badge count + difficulty modes
Released patch v0.4.12, squashing a couple of bugs, but primarily focusing on more adding a little surprise for anyone that explores the Autumn Grotto after getting the HM for Cut.
On a related note, I managed to get the online servers updated slightly, fixing a couple of legality bugs that now...
Released a small update that tweaks the experience curve slightly, adds a couple of scattered NPCs for mechanical clarification, and most importantly, reworks the 'Tracker' app to work with any Pokémon on the route that the player has previously seen, as opposed to just ones that have only been...
