Shroomini has been redesigned, and here are its evolutions, Shroomette and Serashroom. At Level 15 (this will be a pre-Gym 1 mon), Shroomini evolves into Shroomette, and then into Serashroom at Level 34.

The level cap means that you can't level up higher than the next gym leaders ace Pokemon. For example, the fourth gym leader's ace is Level 35, so after beating the third gym, the level cap increases from 30 to 35.
