    Released Pokemon This Gym of Mine

    How is the wild pokemon level determined? I think that it is cool for the pokemon to level up with the player but I'm having a hard time exploring some of the map since I didn't catch a bunch of pokemon early and only have a few that are close to the level of the wild pokemon.
